Prayer for Singles

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You as a single person believing for marriage. I trust in Your perfect timing and plan for my life, knowing that You have ordained every season. Grant me patience to wait on You, knowing that You work all things together for my good according to Romans 8:28.

Father, I pray for Your guidance and protection as I navigate the journey towards finding a life partner. Give me discernment to recognize when someone is sent by You and when they are not, that I may not be led astray. Help me to trust in Your leading and rely on Your wisdom.

During this season of singlehood, I pray that I find focus and thrive. May I discover my identity in Christ and grow in my relationship with You. Prepare my heart, mind, and spirit as I wait, so that I may be ready for the spouse You have prepared for me.

Father, I ask that I exude the attributes of Christ and attract only those whom You have called for me. May I radiate Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Help me to build Your kingdom while building a strong foundation with my future spouse.

Give me the strength to push past insecurities and be confident in Christ, knowing that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). May I hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of Christ in my heart, allowing Your love to shine through me.

Prepare me, Lord, as I prepare for my future mate. Mold me into the person You desire me to be, so that I may bring glory to Your name and experience a marriage that reflects Your love and grace.
